The challenge

In the smart video intercom market, solutions such as Ring or Google Nest Doorbell are widely used, but are mainly optimized for single-family settings or single entrances

The challenge of this project was to develop an effective solution for multi-user environments, such as condominium complexes and industrial environments, where management and access needs are significantly more complex and distributed among different types of users.

The method

Designed for residents, administrators, installers and temporary users

We involved the Farfisa team, the DevQ development team and a sample of users to analyze the needs of all the actors in the system and the app.
The collaboration took place through remote co-design sessions, which allowed us to map the journeys and connections between all users of the system, in order to precisely define all the functionalities to be implemented in the project.

The output

The app design reflects the technical and professional spirit of Farfisa, valuing the functional aspects of the interface and aligning itself with the company's values and communication style

The user experience has been optimized with specific features for each type of user:

Personalized access to video intercom functions.
Real-time alerts and remote access control.
History and recording of received and missed calls.

Condominium Administrator
Monitoring the activity of all inputs.
Configuring specific permissions for users and housing units.
Temporary access management.

Installer
Guide to the installation of Farfisa devices.
Complete access and unit configuration.

Temporary users
Limited access with QR code for maintainers, gardeners and other users.
